4. Service Agreements

4.1 Quotations and Estimates

• Final pricing will be confirmed in a formal service agreement
• Additional work outside the original scope may incur extra charges

4.2 Service Agreement Formation

• A binding contract is formed upon signing of our service agreement

4.3 Site Access and Conditions

5. Payment Terms

5.3 Late Payments

• Late payment charges of 1.5% per month may apply
• Work may be suspended for overdue payments
• Legal costs for debt recovery will be charged to the customer

6. Installation and Completion

6.1 Installation Timeline

• Installation dates are estimates and subject to weather and site conditions
• We will provide reasonable notice of any delays
• Completion dates may be extended for reasons beyond our control

6.2 System Commissioning

• Systems will be tested and commissioned before handover
• You will receive operating instructions and warranties
• Grid connection applications will be submitted where required

7. Warranties and Guarantees

7.1 Product Warranties

• Solar panels: 25-year performance warranty (manufacturer)
• Inverters: 5-10 year warranty (manufacturer)
• Batteries: 10-year warranty (manufacturer)
• Wind turbines: 5-year warranty (manufacturer)

7.2 Installation Warranty

• 5-year warranty on installation workmanship
• 2-year warranty on electrical connections
• Roof penetrations guaranteed against leaks for 10 years

7.3 Warranty Exclusions

• Damage caused by extreme weather events
• Unauthorized modifications or repairs
• Normal wear and tear
• Damage from third-party interference

8. Maintenance and Support

• Annual maintenance packages available
• 24/7 emergency support for critical issues

9. Limitation of Liability

• Our liability is limited to the value of the specific service provided
• We are not liable for consequential or indirect losses
• Performance estimates are based on standard test conditions
• Actual performance may vary due to environmental factors

9.2 Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Natural disasters, extreme weather, or acts of God
• Government regulations or policy changes
• Supply chain disruptions
• Labor disputes or industrial action

10. Cancellation and Refunds

10.1 Cooling-off Period

• 14-day cooling-off period for consumer contracts
• Full refund available if cancelled within this period
• Cancellation must be in writing

10.2 Cancellation After Commencement

• Cancellation fees may apply after work has begun
• Customer liable for costs incurred and work completed
• Equipment ordered specifically for your project cannot be returned

11. Health and Safety

• We carry comprehensive public and employer liability insurance
• Risk assessments are conducted before all work begins

12. Insurance and Indemnity

12.1 Our Insurance Coverage

• Employer liability insurance: £10,000,000
• Professional indemnity insurance: £1,000,000
• Product liability insurance: £1,000,000

12.2 Customer Insurance

• You should notify your home insurance provider of installations
• Maintain adequate property insurance during and after installation
• Some insurers may offer reduced premiums for renewable energy systems
